Staff Training: All Direct-Hire and Temporary Help Staffing Consultants must undergo a 4-6 week intensive training program prior to having the opportunity to independently interact with candidates and/or client companies. Linda J. Poldoian, owner of John Leonard, conducts this program, which is endearingly known as The University of JL. After successfully completing the training program, including a final examination process, John Leonard employees begin their role as Staffing Consultants. Our on-the-job Staffing Consultant mentoring program provides continued refinement of job knowledge and skills.
Referrals: John Leonard has maintained an outstanding candidate referral base. Candidate referrals, our most effective source for recruitment, consistently provide us with the highest quality candidates.
Non-Invasive Recruiting: Rather than covertly poach candidates from companies, our consultants leverage the fact that we develop strong business partnerships and friendships with the hiring managers of our client companies. We simply communicate directly with the hiring manager, describe the candidate credentials we are seeking to identify, and ask that they introduce John Leonard to any candidates they would want to have as their employee but do not have a position available to offer to them.
