Assistant to the President – Cambridge, MA

Our client, a well known scholarly organization in Cambridge, is looking for an Assistant to the President.

Duties of the assistant include:

  • Overseeing day to day operations of the Executive Office
  • Preparation for meetings, including preparing materials
  • Attending meetings with the President
  • Preparing notes and action items from meetings for follow up
  • Proactively anticipating President’s requirements
  • Office support as needed

In addition to relevant experience, a successful candidate must have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Extensive supervisory and organizational experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Flexibility to work late hours and travel
  • Experience managing multiple activities in a fast paced environment
