Help Desk #19993-DMK / JLIND11 / Metrowest, MA
Must have expert knowledge in the following OS Platforms: Windows XP, Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server and Windows 2007 and 2008.
Our client, a technology company is the Metrowest area, is looking to fill a Help Desk position. Duties for this position would include:
- Opening and closing help desk ticket and managing engineer’s tickets to timely resolution.
- Creating, monitoring and printing out daily and monthly reports.
- Monitoring incoming emails and running numerous daily backup tests.
- Documenting and logging client communications for purposes of accurate billing and documentation.
In addition to knowledge of OS Platforms, a successful candidate should have the following:
- Ability to work early mornings, late evenings or weekends.
- A+ certified or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Windows/Active Directory and remote access/web-ex.
- Ability to rid Malware/Viruses.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic PC networking issues and issues with MS Office.
- Skills in all versions of Windows, Spamware.
- PGP/Symantic and abilities on the server-side a plus.
