Candidates must have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other related field or equivalent experience and a minimum of 7 years of IT experience along with 2-3 years previous supervisory experience.
Our client, a large law firm in Downtown Boston, is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Lead who will contribute and direct all activities of testing and quality assurance within Information Services. The position will be responsible for the creation and implementation of a testing framework to be used on projects. The position will be responsible for developing policies and procedures based on QA best practices and ensure all work adheres to these policies. They will manage a team of testing resources (internal and/or external) that develop, modify and execute software test plans; analyze and write test cases; maintain documentation of results; and consult with Project Managers and Engineers in resolution of problems.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other related field or equivalent experience and a minimum of 7 years of IT experience along with 2-3 years previous supervisory experience. The candidate will also have demonstrated success leading IT Software QA programs, hands on experience developing test plans and test cases, experience with different facets of QA testing such as functional, regression, integration, performance, UAT and operational readiness testing and also have a clear understanding of the software development lifecycle, technical requirements and project management, strong team leadership and management skills.
