Must have a Bachelors degree in Accounting and 3 years of current or recent experience in public accounting.
Our client, a Boston based consulting firm, is looking for an Assurance-Associate Senior-Commercial. Duties for this position would include:
- Leading the team through the entire audit process.
- Preparing all necessary financial statements and related disclosures and reportable condition letters.
- Developing an understanding of client’s business and becoming a functional expert.
- Monitoring and reporting regarding the productivity of staff and adherence to work plan schedules on each assignment.
In addition to a degree and relative experience, a successful candidate should have the following:
- Proven record of building profitable, sustainable client relationships.
- General knowledge of FASB and GAAP.
- Strong financial statement audit background.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Ability to travel on a limited basis preferred.
