Senior Audit Associate #19739-RMH
Must have experience in Public Accounting.
Our client, a Boston accounting firm, is looking for a Senior Audit Associate. Duties for this position would include:
- Preparing all necessary audit reports, financial statements and related disclosures.
- Supervising, training and mentoring associates and interns on audit process.
- Keeping current on all industry developments.
- Anticipating and addressing client concerns and escalating problems as they arise.
- Recognizing and informing management of opportunities to increase levels and types of services.
In addition to experience in public accounting, a successful candidate should have the following:
- BS in accounting. Graduate degree in a related subject a plus.
- 2+ years of audit experience in a public accounting firm.
- Solid analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
- Team-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Progression towards CPA certification.
