A BA or BS and Corporate Securities experience are a must!
Our client, an international law firm, is seeking a corporate paralegal. Job duties include assisting with private and public company financing and mergers, assisting in preparing legal opinions, preparing corporate and securities filings, and other tasks assigned by attorneys and senior paralegals.
A successful candidate must have a BA or BS, and a paralegal certificate is helpful. Additionally, applicants must have 2-3 years of corporate and securities experience in a law firm. Familiarity with CapMX or similar Web based tracking system is a huge plus! Applicants must be great communicators, be detail oriented, be able to handle a large workload, and be able to handle sensitive information with discretion. Some overtime may be required.
