Is there a cost to use your service?

There is no cost to job seekers.

How long will an interview with JOHNLEONARD take?

Plan on spending around an hour at JOHNLEONARD. Our consultants are highly trained and take the time to meet with you and thoroughly review your resume and background.

What companies/industries do you work with?

JOHNLEONARD has an extensive database of over 10,000 organizations! We work with every industry across a broad range of job categories – check out our job openings.

What happens if you don’t have an open position/assignment for me right now?

We keep your qualifications on file. Your consultant will contact you immediately with any new jobs that fit your skills and requirements. We will also proactively present your background to client organizations that have had relevant jobs/assignments in the past. We encourage you to periodically check for new listings on our website.

Why do I meet with both a Direct Hire and Temporary Consultant?

If you are available for temporary assignments, we have you meet with both divisions to give you more options for employment. If you are unemployed and looking for a full time job, working a temporary assignment will allow you to keep your skills sharp while earning additional cash. Remember, many temporary assignments become direct hire jobs.

I am working currently and don't want my employer to know I'm looking for another position. Will you contact my current employer?

Absolutely not. Your job search and details about your resume are confidential.

I have applied with JOHNLEONARD before, do I need to come back in?

We value your time but will need to meet with you again if your skills, resume, or goals have changed significantly. If they have only slightly changed, we may be able to get your file up-to-date over the phone.

When will I know the name of the organization I am interviewing with?

Many of the organizations we work with value discretion and request that JOHNLEONARD wait until you have been selected to interview before divulging their name.

How much will I get paid?

Direct Hire – Compensation is based on the job requirements and your experience. It will be discussed with you in detail when a job is being presented.

Temporary/Contract – Pay rate will vary based on the client’s budget, the position, and the skills required for the job.

As a Temporary Staff Representative how will I get paid?

JOHNLEONARD generates payroll weekly from on-line timecards completed by you and approved by the assignment supervisor. Payroll checks are available each Wednesday for work done the previous week. Direct deposit is available as well.
