Salary: $60K - $80K

A healthcare provider for underserved communities located in the Greater Boston area is seeking an Associate Director of Workplace Development to join their team. In this role, you will play a critical role to acquire and maintain top talent in order to move the mission forward and drive growth.

Responsibilities 

  • Associate Director of Workplace Development will assess, design, and implement overall recruiting strategy, defining best practices as a key part of overall human resources operations
  • Help design, execute, support, and evaluate agency-wide Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion (DEI) culture, initiatives, and projects
  • Manage the full recruitment life cycle across a variety of open roles, including clinical and non-clinical positions, leading the charge of locating and introducing candidates to the company
  • Collaborate with hiring directors and managers to gain an understanding of comprehensive hiring needs, including job requirements, key competencies, and interview logistics
  • Represent the company at career fairs, networking functions, and community gatherings to build talent pool
  • Own development and implementation of behavioral index software and drive hiring managers to use that data to inform hiring decisions
  • For all Associate Director positions and above, as well as providers: assess all incoming candidate resumes and job applications, conduct interviews using a variety of selection tools, and manage ongoing candidate communication to appropriately pre-screen candidates, documenting all key variables for future hiring analysis
  • Conduct Exit Interviews and Stay Interviews for all positions, compile data for real time action and feedback
  • Coach and develop managers to create SMART goals and hold their teams accountable
  • Manage internal promotion process including applicant development, interviewing, skills assessment, development of training plans, documentation of all efforts, and final approval
  • Lead the effort to maintain a positive employee relations climate by facilitating discussions or by providing consistent advice and guidance to managers and employees for problem resolution of work-related conflict

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 3+  years of demonstrated retention metrics met for mid to solid performers 
  • Demonstrated effective recruitment and retention strategies required, and within a CHC, preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook Email and Calendar
  • Advanced knowledge of ATS, HRIS, and Payroll systems
  • Advanced knowledge of ClearCompany, Paylocity, Survey Monkey, internet search queries preferred
  • Established history developing innovative recruitment strategies, building healthy pipelines and talent pools, and proven experience streamlining processes and creating efficiencies to inform ongoing work
  • Excellent problem solving, follow up, assertive project management, and analytical skills
