Attorney Development Coordinator
Salary: $55K - $65K

A global, leading law firm is seeking an Attorney Development Coordinator to be a key member of its talent management team. In this role, you will handle a variety of responsibilities related to the development, retention, and engagement of firm attorneys.
Responsibilities
- Attorney Development Coordinator will collaborate on the design, content, and presentation of attorney development training programs
- Coordinate training program logistics including room reservations, room set-up, technology, food orders, and troubleshooting
- Develop program marketing materials and serve as the main contact for internal program attendees
- Collect, compile, and analyze attorney feedback for CLE program evaluations and in-house training programs; recommending improvements based on feedback
- Advise attorneys about their CLE compliance and help to identify outside programs to fulfill CLE requirements in mandatory CLE jurisdictions
- Assist attorneys with applications for time extensions if needed
- Maintain learning management software and CLE database, records, and reports to ensure the firm and its attorneys comply with CLE rules and regulations
- Keep up-to-date on CLE regulations for all relevant jurisdictions
- Manage relationships with external CLE vendors, coordinate webcasts and external program enrollment, and promote relevant programs
- Assis with the preparation and oversight of the Talent Management Department budget and project expenses (e.g., attorney licensing, attorney bar association memberships and professional memberships, etc.)
- Coordinate all aspects of the First Year Associate Academy training program and collect feedback from attorneys at the end of the process
- Assist with the associate yearly evaluation process including distribution and collection of evaluation forms
- Assist with the associate mentoring program
- Assist in the development and coordination of associate retreats
- Assist with attorney involvement in external training programs
- Plan social events held in connection with new associate orientation and other programs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of administrative focused support in a professional development department
- Experience with legal professional development and CLE accreditation rules and requirements is a plus
- Strong proficiency using databases, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail
