Conference Center/Operations Coordinator #30918

JOHNLEONARD has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and collaborative Operations Coordinator to join our client's welcoming and friendly Conference Center team. This full-time position is based in Boston. The Operations Coordinator role comes with a salary of $50K-$60K and excellent benefits.

You will assist the organization and executive of all firm events and help the Operations Manager with the day-to-day running of the operations department.

To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do as Operations Coordinator:

  • Manage the firm's conference room reservation software and conference centeroperations, including confirming all reservations and collaborating with catering staff for on-site meetings/events
  • Complete follow-up with room requestors to ensure all information is captured in the reservation software
  • Prioritize the Day Porter's workflow to ensure meeting room set-ups are completed correctly and in a timely fashion as requested
  • Document conference center procedures and room preferences for recurring meetings
  • Present the Operations Overview to all new hires

To apply for this Conference Center Operations Coordinator role, you will need an Associate's degree and/or directly relevant experience. You will also require the following:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members, attorneys, and staff throughout the firm, with a 'can do' attitude
  • Adaptable to last-minute changes and disruptions and able to accommodate occasional overtime work
