Salary: $45K - $55K

3 years of administrative/executive assistant experience required

A nonprofit in Boston is looking to hire an Executive Coordinator to manage the organization’s Board of Directors’ activities and provide strategic administrative support to the Executive Director. Apply to facilitate all board-related processes and equip the board with the resources, information, and tools needed to fulfill their responsibilities of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Executive Coordinator will serve as board and board alumni liaison managing relationships, activities, and communications
  • Plan and coordinate in-person board of directors meetings three times a year
  • Oversee board Governance, Nomination and Elections, and Executive Committee activities
  • Provide administrative and strategic support to the Executive Director
  • Develop and manage historical records, committee and meeting reports, and organizational policies
  • Facilitate board member onboarding and manages orientation process and resources
  • Serve as the primary contact for research activity inquiries and manages the application process

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 years of administrative/executive assistant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with project management and email marketing web applications
  • Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, and writing skills
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and manage committees
  • A general understanding of board governance and nonprofit operations
