Salary: $90K - $130K

4+ years of progressive, successful work experience in Human Resources, including 3+ years of HRIS experience required

In this role, you will drive the HR function forward by assisting with the development and implementation of HR initiatives to support the firm’s strategic objectives and manage the HRIS function for the firm.


  • Human Resources/ HRIS Manager will drive the HR function, including leading and managing HR projects/initiatives
  • Coordinate the annual performance evaluation process
  • Coach and manage employees on performance management and support managers with effective strategies to address performance concerns
  • Develop and update legally compliant job descriptions and works with hiring managers to draft compelling job postings
  • Serve as the HRIS expert for the Firm
  • Maintain the Firm’s HRIS system (Ceridian Dayforce), including interfacing with the vendor, communicating changes to the HR team or other relevant functions, i.e., Finance, IT
  • Process all compensation and title changes in Dayforce and ensure changes are communicated to payroll
  • Ensure the integrity of all systems data by reviewing input and conducting regular audits
  • Troubleshoot issues, ensure maximum functionality and security, and monitor the timely backup of data
  • Manage, maintain and update viDesktop, the Firm’s performance review system
  • Develop and deliver training to end-users through one-on-one and group training sessions; train new hires in the use of Dayforce
  • Respond to survey requests, create queries and reports
  • Complete, review, analyze, and distribute monthly HR metrics
  • Supervise the legal administrative assistants, including hiring, on-boarding, and coaching the assistants
  • Review assignments to ensure appropriate workload among the assistants, assign coverage to attorneys ensuring proper structure to maximize services and support provided to attorneys  


  • BA/BS degree
  • 4+ years of progressive, successful work experience in Human Resources, including 3+ years of HRIS experience; Dayforce experience preferred
  • Experience managing and developing employees preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Excellent Excel skills, including strong knowledge and experience using pivot tables
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • An extraordinary level of professionalism, organization, flexibility, and reliability to appropriately set priorities, and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently and effectively
