Litigation Legal Secretary/Assistant #30714

JOHNLEONARD is seeking a Litigation Legal Secretary/Assistant to support multiple attorneys in the financial services industry. This full-time role is based in Boston and offers a salary of up to $100K and excellent benefits.

As a Legal Secretary/Assistant, you will support multiple attorneys and be assigned with a variety of responsibilities, including, scheduling hearings, trial preparation, drafting documents, and various other responsibilities.

If you were already in this role, here are some of the areas you would have been working on this week:

  • Entering conflicts checks and opening client files
  • Scheduling, calendaring, and planning business travel
  • Assisting attorneys with time entries
  • Preparing attorney and office expenses.

To apply for this Legal Services Litigation Legal Secretary role, you will need experience in e-filing, 9A procedures, state filing, and proofreading. You will also require the following:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with basic Massachusetts filing procedures, electronic filing in federal courts, and PACER
  • Experience with Westlaw.
