Salary: $65K - $70K

3-5 years of experience with a HRIS and payroll systems required

A Healthcare Practice is hiring a Manager of Payroll and Benefits to join their dynamic Human Resources team in Brighton, MA. You will be responsible for all aspects of payroll processing, Health Center benefits administration, and labor regulation and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manager of Payroll and Benefits will work with the VP of Operations, Facilities & HR in carrying out various human resources programs, policies, and procedures for all health center employees, interns, volunteers, and students
  • Ensure staff adhere to and support the Personnel Policies and Procedures as defined by the Health Center
  • Manage and administer New Hire Orientation monthly, manage the electronic onboarding process
  • Manage and track new employee referrals, responsible for verification and payouts
  • Prepare and send new employee offer letters, tracking and reconciling accepted offers
  • Prepare new employee files and assure that all personnel files are complete and that documentation contained within is accurate and up-to-date
  • Collect immunization records from all new hires and manage ongoing employee immunization due dates for all staff
  • Responsible for all aspects of payroll including preparation, verifying accuracy and compliance with policies, processing, reporting and distribution of checks
  • Assist with identifying errors and personnel policy/payroll exceptions, including appropriate supervisor approvals
  • Responsible for the maintenance and upload of Employee Contributions (and Catch-Up Contributions when applicable) to the 403b retirement plan
  • Responsible for maintaining an organized filing and retrieval system for all payroll adjustments, data changes, new hires, benefit revisions, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or an Associate’s Degree with equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience with a HRIS & payroll systems, Paylocity and ClearCompany is a plus
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of human resources, regulations and procedures concerning payroll law and its relation to healthcare and credentialing
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and PDF smart editor
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
