Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Project Manager
Salary: Up to $75K
2-4 years of experience in project management with concentrations and interests in employee healthcare and corporate compliance required
An industry-leader Third Party Administrator is seeking a Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Project Manager to be responsible for project management of various regulatory and compliance initiatives for the company. Responsibilities
- Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Project Manager will establish and identify key players within the company for Regulatory Affairs and Compliance project teams
- Gather project team members and establish reoccurring meetings and agenda
- Oversee the Regulatory Affairs and Compliance focused project from start to finish or “lights on” implementation
- Revise procedures, reports, etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or update requirements
- Draft, modify, and implement company policies
- Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of evolving state and federal regulations that impact clients’ plans
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2-4 years of experience in project management with concentrations and interests in emplolyee healthcare and corporate compliance
- Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal regulations governing employee benefits
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel or similar PC based programs
- Strong project management skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and accurate
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task efficiently and accurately in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of the team
- Ability to work within specified timeframes and meet deadlines
- Ability to understand and apply technical legal rules in an employee benefits context and communicate regulatory requirements in plain language, both verbally and in writing.
