Do you have accounting experience, and are you seeking a new position? JOHNLEONARD is recruiting a skilled Staff Accountant for a firm in Andover, MA, and the role offers a salary of up to $75K plus bonus for your expertise.

The Staff Accountant will assist in all financial transactions and financial reporting of the firm. You will be part of a growing team and will work closely with the Senior Accountant and the Controller. Since its inception in 2008, the Firm has managed approximately $4.6 billion in commitments. They are an alternative asset management firm focused on private equity fund of funds, co-investment, and private credit across the North American middle market.

To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

• Prepare workpapers and journal entries related to employee expense reports, office invoices, and cost allocations
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and weekly cash tracking updates
• Assist with completing quarter-end deliverables, including workpaper files, financial statements, capital account statements, and ad hoc reports
• Prepare and reconcile management fee calculations
• Ensure timely invoicing and collection of receivables

To apply for this Staff Accountant role, you will need a Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 1-2 years of general corporate accounting experience, Big 4 experience preferred. You will also require the following:

• 2-3 years of work experience
• CPA qualification
• An academic record with demonstrated quantitative and qualitative analytical ability
• Interest in gaining experience in the private equity sector and ties to the greater Boston area
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
