JOHNLEONARD is seeking a Career Coach with knowledge of web-based job search resources and techniques to join our client's inclusive and welcoming team. This full-time Career Coach role is based in Boston and offers a salary of $46,400 to $51,700 and excellent benefits.

As a Career Coach, you will be responsible for building healthcare relationships, delivering innovative, high-quality job search coaching (including employment assessment, resume preparation, interview prep, social media training, workshops, etc.) and job placement assistance (including e-marketing and outreach to employers, job search club, job development, placement, and follow-up) for all Healthcare Skills Training program job seekers.

During your first few weeks in this Healthcare Skills Coach role, you can expect to begin work on some of the following:

• Assist job seekers with goal setting, identifying barriers, and mapping out plans that lead to job placements, skills upgrades, and career advancements
• Understand and apply knowledge of internet and social media resources for job seekers
• Produce top-quality resumes, especially for professional-level job seekers and career changers
• Provide high-quality 1:1 job search coaching, including interviewing, self-marketing strategies, social media, etc.
• Teach Professional Development classes and deliver professional quality workshops that demonstrate knowledge of adult education techniques and utilize technology for maximum engagement

To succeed in this Healthcare Skills Career Coach position, you will need 2-3 years of experience in workforce development, job search/career coaching/recruiting/ field with excellent knowledge of coaching tools and strategies. You will also require the following:

• BA/BS in a related area (Employment Coaching/Career Counseling, Human Resources, Psychology, Social Work, or Education) or at least 4 years of experience
• Knowledge of web-based job search resources and techniques
• Experience in recruitment and job development
• Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills
• The ability to work in a multicultural environment
