T-DH Coordinator of Fleet and Safety

Salary: $45K - $55K

Relevant work experience required and must have valid driver's license

A local nonprofit organization is seeking a T-DH Coordinator of Fleet and Safety to join their Operations division. Apply to support the nonprofit’s teams with fleet vehicle support, safety related tasks, continuity of operations, and infection control protocols and processes. 


  • Coordinator of Fleet and Safety will independently and proactively identify organizational inefficiencies
  • Develop solutions in line with the strategic plan and operational priorities
  • Ensure nonprofit maintains an effective fleet management program to ensure safety of all staff, clients and property
  • Coordinate with Human Resources, program managers, staff, and other stakeholders as necessary 
  • Oversee the fleet management program, which includes successful use of latest technologies, safety methods, fuel purchases, scorecard reporting, and benchmarking
  • Ability to initiate new vendor business opportunities while building existing relationships Partner with both internal partners and outside agencies to coordinate scheduling Covid-19 testing, results, and maintain accurate records of all testing figures 
  • Maintain all AED, Sharps, Narcan and other safety items for the organization, including procurement, replenishment, usage reporting and inventory and expiration management
  • Support the Director of Safety and Emergency Management on Workplace Safety initiatives across the organization
  • Provide regular communications to all partners in regarding maintaining and enhancing fleet operations
  • Create and maintain reports further to auditing and ensuring adherence to program, budget, and other goals of the department
  • Assume personal responsibility for specific, straightforward components of larger projects
  • Take personal responsibility, with guidance, for small, straightforward projects, involving coordination with others


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience with fleet management and or safety
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong planning and organizational skills; superior interpersonal, verbal and written skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new software (e.g., Geotab, Enterprise, Building Engines)
  • Experience in and ability to maintain confidential records and information
  • Can prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in basic vehicle preventative maintenance
  • Detail focused and impeccable record keeping
  • Experience in developing and presenting varied safety and fleet training
  • Basic knowledge of OSHA workplace safety regulations
