JOHNLEONARD is seeking an experienced and collaborative Healthcare Skills Training Instructor to join our client's inclusive and friendly team. This full-time Healthcare Skills Instructor role is based in Boston and offers a salary of up to $51,700 and excellent benefits.

As a Healthcare Skills Training Instructor, you will develop and modify contextualized curriculum and daily lesson plans for academic and job skill training programs, deliver training to participants, evaluate progress and skill attainment of individual participants on a scheduled basis, track outcomes, incorporate core skills into the delivery of the program’s curriculum, and create documents for submission to various stakeholders

• Meet program goals and outcomes
• Incorporate core competencies such as - Study skills, organizational skills, time management, test taking, computer skills, soft skills, and critical thinking into all lessons
• Support students with enhancing their professional communication skills (written and verbal)
• Support and promote the mission and philosophy both internally and outside the agency
• Create a classroom environment where all students feel heard, can express ideas, learn and problem-solve in creative ways

To apply for this Healthcare Skills Training Instructor role, you will need a BS in Education, Math, Science, or a related field. You will also require:

• 2-3 years of workplace or related training/teaching experience
• Knowledge of the scope of duties for a HHA/CAN/or adult learning or adult learning program
