Salary: $55K - $60K

5-7 years of full-cycle recruitment in a non-profit setting/human services environment, including knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices required

An education and care agency in Boston is seeking a T-DH Recruiter to design and implement recruitment and retention strategies. Focusing primarily on the recruitment of teachers in a child care setting, responsibilities include monitoring recruitment procedures, from sourcing to hiring, and identifying high-potential candidates. Responsibilities

  • Recruiter will develop recruiting, recognition, and retention strategies by sourcing and attracting top quality candidates
  • Ensure that recruiting methods and processes are efficient, effective, and promote diversity
  • Provide hiring managers with the tools to interview and assess candidates accurately and fairly
  • Build the brand in recruitment advertising, social media, and networking events
  • Use sourcing strategies including employee referral programs and social media
  • Manage and build external partnerships with colleges, communities, workforce development, etc.
  • Ensure that all new hire requirements are met before candidates begin employment
  • Develop and implement orientation and onboarding programs for new hires
  • Guide supervisors throughout the professional development process to ensure meaningful and reflective communication
  • Recommend training/coaching to address performance opportunities
  • Build talent pipeline for current and future job openings
  • Stay up to date on labor and employment laws
  • Participate in and host recruitment events
  • Utilize recruiting metrics to execute a data-driven approach to Talent
  • Bring expertise by pinpointing talent and organizational opportunities
  • Lead talent initiatives, organizational interventions, and change management efforts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5-7 years of full-cycle recruitment in a non-profit setting/human services environment, including knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices
  • Must be a positive, self-reliant team player with strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem resolution skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and internet/e-mail
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
