Temporary Covid-19 Clinic Patient Registrar

A nonprofit organization is seeking multiple Temporary Patient Registrar for Covid-19 Vaccination clinics working various shifts as Per Diem or Full Time in their Brighton and Waltham locations. 

Responsibilities

  • Covid-19 Clinic Patient Registrar will screen patients for Covid-19 symptoms upon arrival at the vaccine clinic
  • Greet patients and confirm appointments
  • Establish medical record numbers via proper search methods
  • Verify insurance eligibility and accurately enter all patient demographic information and insurance information into the electronic medical record
  • Complete and process required patient documentation, provide patients and their representatives with the information required by federal, state, and Joint Commission standards such as Patient Bill of Rights, HIPPA Notice of Privacy, IMM letters
  • Contribute to the maintenance of important data integrity and serve as the entry point for the revenue cycle
  • Per nonprofit guidelines Registrar serving as a Documenter, finalizes vaccination documentation in patient medical record

Requirements

  • 0-5 years of related experience required; Bilingual is highly preferred
  • Strong computer skills and customer service skills
  • Must be able to work varied hours and flexible shifts
  • Excellent communication skills
