Temporary Credentialing/HR Coordinator

1+ years of experience in health care insurance credentialing and/or third party billing within either an insurance or health care delivery environment required

A leading medical nonprofit in Brighton, MA is seeking a Temporary Credentialing/HR Coordinator to support their busy team. In this role, you will maintain and coordinate all internal and hospital credentialing for licensed professionals at the health center.

Responsibilities

  • Credentialing/HR Coordinator will initiate welcome/credentialing packet to be sent to new providers
  • Insure that credentialing files are complete
  • Maintain internal license tracking
  • Coordinate, monitor, and maintain the credentialing and re-credentialing process
  • Initiate the collection of all pertinent information and documentation from the practitioner or appropriate office staff
  • Coordinate initial credentialing and recredentialing such as querying NPDB, verification of license, certifications, experienced credentials and competency standing

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1+ years of experience in health care insurance credentialing and/or third party billing within either an insurance or health care delivery environment
  • Certification, coursework, or certificate training in medical billing and/or insurance credentialing a plus
  • Prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources and experience with an HRIS database preferred
  • Paylocity database knowledge a plus
  • Knowledge of clinical provider requirements a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
