Temporary Delivery Driver

Salary: $20/hr

Our client is seeking a reliable Temporary Delivery Driver who is concerned with customer satisfaction and transporting items in a safe, timely manner. Apply to be responsible for picking up and dropping off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules.

Responsibilities

• Delivery Driver will be responsible for picking up or delivering materials to the correct destination in a timely manner
• Responsible for the successful and accurate completion of all required logs and safety checks, daily
• Verify materials against receiving, shipping, storage, and inventory documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and damage
• Route materials to prescribed storage, freight forward, and/or shipping and receipt locations
• Store, stack, or palletize materials in accordance with prescribed shipping methods
• Process and/or affix, shipment, pick/pack, and other paperwork and reports as required
• Operate hand or power trucks and/or forklifts in performing truck loading, unloading, and delivery of material
• Deliveries are typically within the local area and include, but are not limited to emergency and scheduled overnight deliveries
• Inspect vehicles for safety prior to operation
• Other duties as assigned
