Our client located in Needham, MA is looking to add a Temporary HR Generalist. In this role, you will assist with the general day-to-day activities of the HR Department and gain significant HR experience.

Responsibilities 

  • HR Generalist will be the HR Point of Contact
  • Field and answer general employee questions
  • New employee onboarding, equipment setup with IT, first day details email, day One paperwork, employee file management (electronic & paper), and benefits orientation
  • Answer benefits questions for employees, enroll employees in benefit options, own annual open enrollment, work with Payroll on benefit deductions, and liaise with a benefits broker
  • Work with HRIS system (Paychex), set employees up in Paychex as new hires, terminate departing employees, process employee changes, create instruction manuals on how to use Paychex for new hires and/or new managers, and triage issues/questions with employees and managers
  • Plan and schedule company events, coordinate lunch & learn webinars, schedule Coffee Talks and employee lunches with the CEO and distribute employee anniversary gift cards
  • Assist with interview scheduling and screening candidates
  • Assist with completing employment references
  • Assist with conducting exit interviews with departing employees
  • Coordinate equipment drop-off with IT

Requirements

  • Proficient in using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor
