A public broadcasting group based in Boston is looking to hire a Temporary Sales Operations Associate. Under the general supervision of the Managing Director, the Sales Operations Supervisor will provide support for the Managing Director, Local Sales Manager, and LCS sales staff to ensure the efficient operation of the department. 

Responsibilities

  • Sales Operations Associate will assist with creating and ensuring the orderly and timely processing of presentations, proposals, correspondence, contracts, and other written Sales materials as needed
  • Assist the Managing Director and Sales Manager with continual tracking and monthly reporting of sales projections to the Vice President of Corporate Sponsorship, Sales Team, Managing Director, and Sales Manager
  • Create new report templates as needed
  • Generate contracts in Microsoft Dynamics database after Project Marketing Coordinator has entered order
  • Oversee contract workflow through DocuSign to execution by Legal Department in the Production Information Management Filemaker database
  • Appropriately denote signed contract and new business status for use by the Business Manager in incentive reports
  • Work to continually improve understanding of the selling process in order to assist the sales staff with the Microsoft Dynamics process improvements
  • Serve as the departmental IT contact in Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Dynamics applications, and other software products
  • Act as department point person and interdepartmental liaison

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in a sales or marketing environment
  • Computer and database management skills 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, FileMaker, DocuSign, and Acrobat
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to work independently to problem solve, set priorities, and manage deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effectively communicates with leadership and peer
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
