4+ years of paralegal experience required

If you have prior paralegal experience involving e-discovery and redaction, a leading government agency is seeking a Temporary Senior Legal Records Coordinator to join its Boston office. You will be assisting with records management and retrieval and public records law compliance in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Senior Legal Records Coordinator will utilize e-discovery, redaction, and other technology-based tools in identifying and reviewing records and conducting electronic and hard copy searches
  • Identify and apply statutory exemptions under the direction of legal counsel
  • Prepare and analyze correspondence, memoranda, agreements, and responses to public records requests and subpoenas in public records management software
  • Investigate, organize, and analyze large quantities of information which includes unrestricted access to confidential policy development materials, employee personnel records, collective bargaining proposals, attorney-client privileged documents and other documents of confidential nature Ensure compliance and timely response in accordance with Public Records Law
  • Communicate with records requestors and internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4+ years of paralegal, business administrative or managerial experience
  • E-discovery, redaction, and other technology based tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task, and deadline–driven environment
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
