Responsibilities

  • Trust & Estates Legal Assistant will prepare documents, prioritize work assignments and meet deadlines
  • Maintain paper and electronic client records in compliance with current policies
  • Assist in coordinating timekeeper calendars, event registrations, expense reports, travel, and meeting arrangements
  • Prepare and process email and mail
  • Provide administrative support, assisting with new client/matter intake process and communicating effectively with clients and others in the firm
  • Aid attorneys with managing client trust accounts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of experience providing legal administrative support
  • Prior experience in a law firm specializing in Trust & Estate practice highly desirable
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills including advanced experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively and proactively
